About
VUEMED
VUEMED was started in 2004 with the vision of providing a
solution to the overwhelming burden of inventory management
in various hospital departments and at medical product manufacturers.
Our objective has been to provide the necessary tools and
support to help our customers make the decisive step towards
taking control over their inventory and improving cost management.
Our mission was thus self-defined:
 |
Provide an effective and easy-to-use inventory tracking
tool with compelling savings and return on investment |
|
|
 |
Empower clinical managers with full inventory control
and data analytics to ensure uncompromised clinical care,
increased productivity, and lower costs |
As a result of its work with healthcare institutions and medical
device manufacturers, the VUEMED team saw the need for an easy-to-use,
non-intrusive, and inexpensive inventory tracking and data
management solution to address product information needs of
both hospitals and manufacturers.
VUEMED recognized that many hospital departments could benefit
from such a solution, including cath and EP labs, interventional
radiology departments, OR, GI/endoscopy suites, and others
- where hundreds of expensive disposable and implantable medical
devices are used daily.
After speaking with several hundred labs throughout the U.S.,
we realized that in order to prevent substantial level of
product waste while ensuring uncompromising clinical care,
our solution had to be affordable, with a high return on investment,
be easy to use and set up, and able to deliver immediate benefits
to the lab or department. In addition to the obvious cost
savings, we heard from lab managers and material management
professionals the desire to easily obtain and manage the information
about their products, from inventory and par level controls
to consumption and budgeting analyses. That was the beginning
of VueTrack.
Now VUEMED assists customers across the nation including most
recently, the cath lab at Massachusetts General Hospital in
Boston, MA and the interventional radiology department at
Washington hospital Center in Washington, D.C.
